GST (Goods and Services Tax)

A 10% tax on most goods and services, which registered businesses add to their prices.

GST is a flat 10% added to most sales. If you’re registered, you charge it on your invoices, claim back the GST on your business purchases, and pay the difference to the ATO via your BAS. The GST inside a GST-inclusive price is the total divided by 11.
